Samphire’s mission is to improve the lives of people released from immigration detention and experiencing destitution in the UK and to support the development of well-informed, cohesive and diverse communities in the Dover area and beyond.

Salary: NJC salary scale point 20 – 22 , £25,295 – £26,317

Fixed term contract to 1/11/2020 (extension of contract is subject to funding)

Ex-Detainee Project Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our small team, delivering a high-quality service to assist former detainees with the challenges they face, primarily via our telephone helpline. The successful applicant will likely be educated to degree level, and/or have experience of refugee/welfare rights or destitution work. They will be empathetic, a good listener and a problem solver. The successful candidate must demonstrate that they meet the requirements of the person specification and the job description.
