EVENTS

Events

Samphire runs events throughout the year to work towards a society that is more compassionate and welcoming to migrants.

See our events calendar here

Every year we hold a conference in London to inform and connect people and organisations challenging immigration detention and a multicultural festival and International inter-cultural Football Tournament in Dover

Our events are designed and run with the help of people with lived experience – people that have been released from detention and the various and varied communities of Kent. See our full events calendar here as well as more details of particular events. To direct this work we host and facilitate Expert by Experience Steering groups that meet regularly to direct and improve our work.

Our Community Engagement work in Dover and Kent also holds regular cultural,  community building and wellbeing events.
